ARRIVAL – ANAMADUWA (Approx. travel time- 2Hrs. 30mins ; Distance - 100 Km) On arrival, meet & greet at the airport and transfer to Eco Lodge in Anamaduwa, surrounded by lakes and blessed with abundant birdlife, wildlife and natural beauty and unique chance to experience rural Sri Lankan life in all its colorful splendor. Check-in to the hotel and relax to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2 |
CYCLE TRIAL IN VILLAGE Breakfast at hotel. Make a walk in the own organic farm where a variety of rice grains, vegetables, herbs, spices and fruits are grown. All waste from the farm is recycled into compost, as are the remains from the kitchen. Harvest season is a particularly important time requiring long shifts in the fields, often with much merriment and celebration. Afternoon make cycle trial to see the networks of man-made ‘tanks’ (lakes) are used to irrigate the paddy fields and support village life – a system remaining unchanged since the times of the ancient kings. Often a picture of splendid serenity, the lakes is local points for villages and essential to humans and animals alike. Dinner and overnight stay at Eco Lodge in Anamaduwa. |

Day 3 |
DOLPHIN & WHALE WATCHING IN KALPITIYA – WILPATTU (Approx. travel time- 1Hr. 30mins. ; Distance - 80 Km) Breakfast as packets. Early morning proceed to Kalpitiya to make Dolphin & Whale Watching tour (Season from November to April). In Kalpitiya you do not have to head out too deep into the ocean to catch a glimpse of Dolphin & Whales as the continental shelf is much closer and alongside the shoreline. The Spinner dolphin being the most common seen along with Bottlenose, Risso’s, Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins, etc. Also you can spot the Blue Whales (largest mammal in the world), Bryde's Whales , Sperm Whales , Killer Whales , False Killer , Dwarf , Melon Headed Whales , Cuvier's Beaked Whales. On your return leave for Wilpattu. Check in at to camp site. Dinner and overnight stay at Wilpattu Camp Site. |

Day 4 |
FULL DAY JEEP SAFARI AT WILPATTU |

Breakfast & Lunch as packets. Make Full Day Jeep Safari at Wilpattu National Parl. Wilpattu National Park is situated along the Northwest coast lowland dry zone of Sri Lanka. It comprises of a unique complex of lakes called Villus, which are natural basins that are filled up with rainwater and are surrounded by open grassy plains set within dense scrub jungle. The biggest draws in Wilpattu are Leopards and Sloth bears. Alongside these, it is possible to see Asian Elephants, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Pig, Asiatic Buffalo and Mugger Crocodiles. Endemic birds include the Ceylon Junglefowl, Brown-capped Babbler, Ceylon Woodshrike and Black-capped Bulbul in riverine habitats. Muntjac or Barking Deer are more easily seen in Wilpattu than any other national park. Butterflies recorded include the Great Eggfly, Great Orange Tip, Glad-eye Bushbrown, Blue Mormon, Common Mormon, Common Rose and Crimson Rose. Dinner and overnight stay at Wilpattu Camp Site. |

Day 5 |
WILPATTU – HABARANA – SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS ( Approx. travel time- 2Hrs. 30mins.; Distance - 120 Km) Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Habarana. Check in at hotel. Late afternoon visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya Rock Fortress is UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most dramatic, inspiring and beautiful historical locations in the world. A mythical past of feuding dynasties suits Sigiriya’s striking setting- it was built in 5th century AD by king, Kasyapa, as a fortress-palace. The palace complex at the foot of the rock still has the remains of four indoor swimming pools where the king’s 500 concubines bathed. The palace structure was built with complex water arteries in the walls that provided natural air conditioning in the hot climate. On the summit, reached with the help of metal staircases and ladders, you can see the remains of the palace walls, gardens and ponds. The mirror walls of the Sigiriya rock still retain the world-famous frescoes of the king’s concubines, who originated from all parts of the world. Dinner and overnight stay at Lodge in Habarana. |

MONEY KINGDOM IN POLONNARUWA – VILLAGE TOUR ( Approx. travel time- 2Hrs.; Distance - 170 Km) Early morning proceed to Polonnaruwan Ancient city to do the money kingdom tour. The Monkey Kingdom Expedition off Polonnaruwa is a fascinating activity for those who love observing animal species in their beautiful natural environment. This expedition will give you the opportunity to get up close and personal with large communities of monkeys. You will be able to observe a variety of social behaviors, including: maternal care, playtime, competition for food, grooming, a rich repertoire of facial gestures, body postures and vocal signals of these very interesting primates. Return to hotel for breakfast. Make village visit in Hiriwaduna You can experience ancient transportation methods, Farming and Paddy fields, irrigation system, Chief Farmer’s house and countryside people living style. Experience traditional Sri Lankans transportation system and it is 30 minute Bullock cart journey through greenish paddy fields in Hirwaduna Village. After that approx. 15 minute canoeing ride you will reach to the Famer’s house and you can experience typical Sri Lankan countryside hospitality at his house and after you can walk through his farm. You can experience different types of cultivation methods and vegetables. At the end you can experience typical countryside cookery demonstration and Sri Lankan lunch at the Famer’s house. MATALE – KNUCKLES ( Approx. travel time- 4Hrs.; Distance - 130 Km) Continue your journey to the Knuckles mountains which is one of the best bio-diversity hot spots, a water catchment and a wildlife reserve and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mountain range is a hotspot among nature and adventure enthusiasts. The climate here is unpredictable and constantly changing, Check in to the camp site. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Site in Knuckles. |

KNUCKLES TREKKING Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Corbett’s Gap, which is a noteworthy attraction. Sitting at an elevation of 1,216 metres, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the mountain range, which makes for perfect Instagram shots. Picnic lunch. Visit the Nitro cave which is a massive cave in the Knuckles Mountain Range that’s inhabited by thousands of bats. But this isn’t the only part of the trek that will take your breath away. With some of the trek being at an elevation of 1216 metres, you will take in incredible views of the mountain range. . Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Site in Knuckles. |

Day 9 |
KNUCKLES – GAL OYA ( Approx. travel time- 5Hrs. 45mins. ; Distance - 240 Km) Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Gal Oya. Discover an ancient land untouched by time; a haven of serenity in which to reconnect with the rhythms of the earth. Immerse yourself in nature and Soak in local culture. In the afternoon make a boat ride on the tank to enjoy the only experience in Sri Lanka that allows you to spot wildlife from the water. It’s a unique way to immerse yourself in the animals’ habitats. With a little luck you could spot elephants swimming between islands or bathing at the lake’s edge. Dinner and overnight stay at Lodge in Gal Oya. |

VEDDHA LOCAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLE – GAL OYA Early morning trek to top of the Money Mountain to watch the sun rise over the hills in the distance, observing the never ending jungle canopy below. Return to hotel for breakfast. Afterwards continue to visit to a village of the Vedda, the forest-dwelling, indigenous people of central Sri Lanka. They have inhabited the island for hundreds of years, living off the land and being at one with nature. The village chief will take you on a walk through the jungles of his ancestors. The forest comes alive as he explains his tribe’s use of medicinal plants, the location of their ancient hunting grounds and cave dwellings, as well as how hunter-gatherers sustained themselves in the ancient jungles of Gal Oya. Dinner and overnight stay at Lodge in Gal Oya. |

GAL OYA – TANGALLE ( Approx. travel time- 5Hrs. ; Distance - 260 Km) Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Tangalle, which is famous for its beautiful and virtually untouched coastline which is favored by those seeking a romantic beach getaway and perfect on seeing endangered marine turtles at the Rekawa beach. En route see the Sri Lanka’s ancient history by visiting Mulgirigala Rock Temple, a cultural site dating back 2,000 years which is perched atop a high cliff and has stunning sea views. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Tangalle. |

Day 12 |
NIGHT TURTLE WATCHING – TANGALLE Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. In the night make TUK TUK ride where you can observe marine turtles in their natural habitat. Five out of seven of the world’s marine turtle species are found and come ashore in Rekawa to lay eggs, including green, loggerhead, hawksbill, olive ridley and leatherback. During the high season from April to July, you can see 5-15 turtles each night, whereas during the low season from October to January it is approximately 1-2. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Tangalle. |
